
Next week, there are a number of active transportation meetings and events, most notably the Washington State Bike, Walk, Roll Summit on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday – this year’s Registration is Free!
On Monday at 1:15pm, the City Council’s Public Infrastructure, Environment and Sustainability Subcommittee (PIES) will hear from the University District (discussion item 2) and approve Crosswalk Art and Murals (item 7). On Tuesday at 6pm, the Community Assembly’s Pedestrian Transportation and Traffic Committee will talk about updates to the Bicycle Master Plan, agenda attached.
Learn something new: Smart Growth Online dives into Innovation Districts on Tuesday, with some ideas relevant to Spokane’s University District, and Mobycon uses lessons from Vilnius to explain how to Make Cycling Great.
